We are currently implementing support for different font sets. The font set to use will be chosen by the localizer, translating the keyword "sans" in the PO-file.
The implementation itself is already working in the development version, but we still need to program the installers for the non-system fonts.
Font sets that are available so far:
- sans
- This is a default font available on any system. We don't recommend this font though
- ruluko
- European font set that is appropriate for learning literacy. Thin font style.
- andika-gb
- The Andika font set is thicker in style than Ruluko. We created a GB variant that has a 7 without a line through it.
- andika-cont
- The Andika font set is thicker in style than Ruluko. We created a Continental Europe variant that has a 7 with a line through it and round Ogoneks.
If you need a different [Andika variant], please let us know, or create one and send us the generated zip file. Since the person designing this doesn't speak any non-Latin languages, we are also looking for fonts that are appropriate for non-Latin scripts.
In the source code, the font sets are located in boards/fontsets.
