These files can be found under boards/wordsgame. Our idea was to add a word list editor in our administration interface but it has never been implemented. It would be nice to let teacher share and create list and why not let GCompris pick them from the web like "KDE Get New Stuff" does. This means that we would have to create a web site to create list but we would also need to make sure only valid and controled strings get to the children. | ||

− | + | Well I have removed my first comment because I think I see how the reading activities are configured. Wouldn't it be better to have a more dynamic configuration for these activites that were based on a word bank? Such that there was a wordlist (with word/level pairs) and a set of images (icon sized for the activities that use small images and larger versions for the activities that show a larger image.) Then all the activities could draw on the word bank, and teachers/parents could contribute to the image bank/word lists. I might work on this, but has someone already got this under way? |
