Check your language status by going on this page.
If you language is not in the list, you can help by translating GCompris.
First, check there is a Gnome Translation Team for your language.
Then, register on the Gnome site, join your language team, click on the GCompris module, select "translate this module" at the end of the page. After you have translated it, post it and wait for someone to check and submit it into gnome’s git repository.
You can use a graphical tool like poedit to help you in this task.
Note that there are special instructions located in the file README.translators at the top of the project source.
